Abstract

Untreated patients with Laron syndrome have acromicria, such as small hands and feet, and organomicria (i.e. small internal organs). IGF-I treatment stimulates the growth of hands and feet but less effective than does GH in children with IGHD. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
