Abstract

Last December, the Excellence in Paediatrics conference presented a panel discussion of how new biologic findings from brain imaging cast new light on adolescent development. This study will review this presentation, focusing on the interplay between adolescent development and new brain research findings. Conclusion Paediatricians can consider these new insights in both interacting individually with patients and advocating for policies within their communities. ©2012 The Author(s)/Acta Pædiatrica ©2012 Foundation Acta Pædiatrica.
