Adolescence extended: Implications of new brain research on medicine and policy

Abstract

Last December, the Excellence in Paediatrics conference presented a panel discussion of how new biologic findings from brain imaging cast new light on adolescent development. This study will review this presentation, focusing on the interplay between adolescent development and new brain research findings.
