Abstract

To satisfy improvement requirements for business process, the quantitative analysis method for process reengineering is established. Firstly, the method presents the Petri Nets (PN) model for the process of business flow of manufacturing system; secondly, the analyzing method based on behavior expressions is adopted to deal with the performance evaluation of the PN model, and the functional relations among different processes of business is also presented. The analysis results facilitate the reengineering of the business processes, help to enhance the throughput, reduce the resource use and balance the process control. At last, a modeling and analyzing example for the process plan design is presented. © 2008 IEEE.
