The new compounds NaCuSe, NaCuTe, KCuSe, KCuTe and KZnP were prepared and their structures − together with those of KZnSb, NaCdSb and NaZnSb − determined. NaCuSe, NaCuTe and NaZnSb crystallize in a PbFCl type, while NaCdSb forms the anti-PbCl 2 -structure. KCuSe, KCuTe, KZnP and KZnSb build up the Ni 2 ln-structure.
