Abstract

Only few models or frameworks of making situated use of advanced technology in scientific publication scenarios are available. Moreover, most of the existing prototypes and applications lack specific expertises and semantics. The approach we proposed in our project is based on some fundamental theories especially specified for managing scientific knowledge. In this paper, we concisely address our conceptual model and methodology defined for ubiquitous scientific publications, along with the pattern approach to systematically and semantically solve the problems in the current age of scientific publishing. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
