Abstract

This second volume in the Space Research and Technology series deals with the principles of operation of rocket motors of all types. The material covered includes discussion of the thermodynamics of rocket motors and the principles of rocket motion and extends to consideration of solid and liquid propellant motors, electric propulsion and nuclear/thermal propulsion.
