Abstract

This chapter is an academic effort to look into the current nature and status of the various cybercrimes against women in India, their evidential aspects, their investigational aspects, and also their prevention aspects. It looks at the gender dimension of the escalating cyber abuses in India, before and during Covid-19. It tries to provide information inputs to theoreticians in Women’s Studies and law practitioners related to women’s rights.
