In order to make English learning more interesting, more individualized, more flexible, more varied, more independent and freer of the limitation by time and space; the following suggestions are proposed for teachers and students. First, we should raise students' awareness of their out-of-class autonomous English learning through cooperative assessment of learning. Second, teachers must cultivate an awareness of students' positive attitude towards and strong interest in autonomous learning and the application of computer and network in it. Third, teachers should be provided with support for overcoming disadvantages of computer and network use. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
