In this paper, we propose a method for emphasizing 3D structure of the scene visually by blending patterned lights projected from multiple projectors. The proposed method enables us to emphasize specific 3D structure of the scene without capturing image of the scene and without estimating 3D structure of the scene. As a result, the 3D structure can be emphasized visually without any delay of computation. In this paper, we propose a method for generating the patterned light of projectors which enables us to emphasize arbitrary 3D structure of the scene efficiently. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
