IMPLEMENTASI THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY (TC) PADA PECANDU NARKOBA RAWAT INAP DI YAYASAN GENESA BABEL FOUNDATION PANGKALPINANG BANGKA BELITUNG

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the increasing number of drug addicts every year. With the increase in drug addicts causing impacts which can damage the morale of the nation. With the increasing number of drug addicts, several institutions were formed in an effort to tackle drug addicts. One of them is prevention in the field of rehabilitation, which is a forum for the recovery of drug addicts so that they can be accepted by the community and lead a better and more productive life. Departing from that, the research here will discuss how the process of implementing the Therapeutic Community technique for inpatient drug addicts and its obstacles at the Genesa Babel Foundation This research is a type of field research (field research). The method of data collection was done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the existing data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Genesa Babel Foundation implies Theraputic Community (TC) for inpatient drug addicts which has 4 stages in the implementation process, namely Induction, Primary, Re-entry, and aftercare. In its application, it also has several obstacles such as constraints in the lack of funds, obstacles since the covid19 pandemic which has limited outdoor activities during the Therapeutic community process, then there are obstacles due to the severity of the status position system in the guidelines so that it cannot be applied according to existing theory. The next obstacle is residents who in the early stages have difficulty in adapting and controlling their emotions and behavior so that sometimes residents and staff manage difficulties in the Therapeutic Community process, the last one is ex-residents who are difficult to contact at the Aftercare stage.   Keywords: Therapeutic Communtiy, Drug Addict, Yayasan Genesa Babel Foundation   Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya jumlah pecandu narkoba pada tiap tahunnya. Dengan meningkatnya pecandu narkoba menimbulkan dampak-dampak yang mana dapat merusak moral bangsa. Dengan meningkatnya jumlah pecandu narkoba, maka dibentuklah beberapa lembaga dalam usaha menanggulangi pecandu narkoba. Salah satunya pada penanggulangan di bidang rehabilitasi yang menjadi wadah untuk pemulihan para pecandu narkoba agar dapat kembali diterima masyarakat dan menjalani kehidupan yang lebih baik dan produktif. Berangkat dari itu, penelitian disini akan membahas mengenai bagaimana proses implementasi teknik Therapeutic Community pada pecandu narkoba rawat inap dan kendalanya di Yayasan Genesa Babel Foundation Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang ada dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Yayasan Genesa Babel Foundation mengimplikasikan Theraputic Community (TC) pada Pecandu Narkoba rawat inap yang memiliki 4 tahapan dalam proses penerapannya, yaitu Induction, Primary, Re-entry, dan aftercare.  Dalam penerapannya pun memiliki beberapa kendala seperti kendala  dalam kekurangan biaya, kendala semenjak pandemi covid19 yang membatasi kegiatan outdoor selama proses Therapeutic community, lalu ada kendala karena kerasnya sistem kedudukan status yang ada di dalam pedoman sehingga tidak dapat diterapkan sesuai teori yang ada. Kendala selanjutnya yaitu residen yang di tahap awal baru masuk kesulitan dalam beradaptasi dan mengontrol emosi serta perilaku nya sehingga terkadang residen serta staff yang mengatur kesulitan dalam proses Therapeutic Community, yang terakhir adalah eks residen yang sulit dihubungi pada tahap Aftercare.   Kata Kunci: Therapeutic Communtiy, Pecandu Narkoba, Yayasan Genesa Babel Foundation
