Analisis Kontribusi Kategori Pertanian Terhadap PDRB Kabupaten Tasikmalaya

Abstract

The Agriculture category is the biggest contributor to the GRDP in Tasikmalaya District besides the Trade Category, Construction and Processing Industry Category. The Agriculture category is the largest absorber of labor, with a positive growth rate every year. The purpose of this study is to analyze how much the contribution of the Agriculture Category to the formation of GRDP in Tasikmalaya Regency. The results of this study are the production value of the Agriculture Category of Tasikmalaya Regency from year to year has increased but the contribution of the Agriculture Category to the GRDP of Tasikmalaya Regency has decreased. One reason for the decline in the role of agriculture is the reduction in land area in the business field. The slow increase in the price of the business field products compared to other business products is also the reason for the decline in the role of the agricultural business field (BPS Tasikmalaya Regency, 2018). Agricultural products are increasingly displaced by the magnitude of other categories that contribute to increasing GDP and because of the economic potential of Tasikmalaya Regency which continues to shift from the Agriculture sector in the Primary group to the tertiary group which includes the Trade sector.
