The accessibility of regions regarding transport is a clear advantage in terms of their social-economic development. New technologies may improve the utilization and usability of public transport on a large scale. The ITRACT project investigates this by developing and testing applications for wireless communication regarding public transport. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2014.
