The purpose of this study is to know the impact of discovery learning model to scientific literacy and learning outcomes on the sub-concept of environmental pollution in grade X MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Tasikmalaya. The method that was used in this study is true experiment which population of this study were grade X MIPA of SMA Negeri 7 Tasikmalaya in 2018/2019 academic year with 6 classes. Samples used as much as 2 classes were being taken by cluster random sampling method, there is X MIPA 5 as the experimental class and X MIPA 6 as the control class. To measure the scientific literacy of students, used instruments in the form of multiple choice tests totaling 22 items and for learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice tests totaling 32 items. Data from this study were analyzed using the analysis of covarianc (ANCOVA) with a probability α 0,05. Based on this research’s outcomess and data analysis, it shows that there was an impact of the discovery learning model to scientific literacy and learning outcomes on the sub concept of environmental pollution in grade X MIPA SMAN 7 Tasikmalaya and there was a relationship between scientific litracy and learning outcomes.
