Abstract

Several anatomical structural conditions in the neck change with the age and affect the neck's appearance. We will discuss the importance of more detailed descriptions regarding the anatomy and different types of distribution of the medial fibers of the platysma muscle and its relations with the superficial musculature aponeurotic system (SMAS) and others structures.
