Abstract

Wikipedia is perhaps the most culturally influential example of “peer production” principles in action, and is certainly the most visible. As the sixth mostpopular website on the Internet, Wikipedia has become an important source of information, not only for students, but also for academics, physicians, and many others Hughes, Joshi, Lemonde, Wareham, 2009.
