Abstract

Agricultural Applications Farmers can order spectral imagery of their fields to determine the status of their land and whatever is growing on it. For example, spectral imagery can indicate the amount of fertilization required in specific locations that are designated with GPS coordinates. Agricultural machinery on the market today has the capability to load this information into computers built into the machinery and automatically adjust the amount of fertilizer deposited based on the information contained in the spectral imagery.
