Benjamin, os brinquedos e a infância contemporânea

Abstract

O presente artigo traz reflexões acerca do brincar e da infância na contemporaneidade, tendo como eixo as contribuições de Walter Benjamin em seus escritos sobre os brinquedos. A posição subjetiva na contemporaneidade, marcada pela autonomização e o individualismo, reflete-se nas vias de transmissão educacional. Considerando-se que o brincar é um processo que produz subjetividades, observa-se que hoje as crianças encontram-se confrontadas com a crescente subtração deste espaço de criação, por excelência. Efeitos desta posição podem ser evidenciados na clínica psicanalítica, na qual as crianças manifestam dificuldades em relação a colocar em jogo a criação, revelando traços dos efeitos de transmissão que o social rege.This article presents reflections about child-play, toys and childhood in the contemporary days. The most important contributions came from Walter Benjamin and his writing about the toys. The subjective contemporary position is marked by the autonomization and the individualism, which reflects in the educational ways. Considering that the play is a subjective process it's observed that the children today are confronted with the growing subtration of this creation space by excellency. The effects of this position are observed even on the psychoanalytical clinic, where the children reveal difficulties when trying to create, revealing consequences of the transmission effects ruled by this society.
