Abstract

A charge pump belongs to a family of DC-to-DC converter that is used as an energy storage source. Using capacitor architecture, it can generate a higher voltage through non overlapping clock circuit. Charge pump makes use of switching devices for controlling the connection of voltage to capacitors and is used in the portable device applications. Charge pump is an extremely important component in the fast-evolving field of nonvolatile memory and high voltage-needed applications for on-chip designs. This paper introduces Dickson charge pump with improved power optimization through boosted clock schemes using NAND architecture.
