Abstract

Six seed treatments were evaluated for the control of bacterial speck of tomatoes caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato (Okabe) Young, Dye, and Wilkie. All treatments considerably reduced the percentage infestation of artificially inoculated tomato seed, but only the antibiotic slurry treatment gave complete control of the pathogen. © 1984 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
