Abstract
In 1980s Ichimura, Austern and Vincent [Phys. Rev. C 32 431 (1985)] proposed a theory to calculate the inclusive breakup cross sections. Using the finite range DWBA version of this theory, we have performed calculations for the118Sn(d, pX) inclusive breakup reaction, and compared with available data in order to assess the applicability of the theory.
