Abstract
Lifts running modes are simulated in this paper. The simulating software is built by using Greenfoot platform and Java technology. The design of related classes is described through UML diagrams, which is created by Enterprise Architect tools. The related methods and basic interfaces are programmed by Java. The LSS(Lift Simulation Software) Model can be used for the strategies of energy saving of lifts. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.
