Abstract

Minimal surface is a surface having the mean curvature H equal to zero at all points. Hence, minimal surface is a surface of negative Gaussian curvature. The extensive information on the initial stages of the investigations of minimal surfacesMinimal surfacesis given at Mathematical encyclopedias, monographs and at numerous courses of differential geometry.
