Abstract

This study aimed to investigate and describe the implementation of project-based assessment rubrics in the English assessment process for elementary school students at Buleleng Regency. This study focused on the learning process that used project-based learning as a learning method and focused on how the process of implementing appropriate assessment rubrics was used in the student assessment process in the classroom. This can be used as a medium that bridged student achievement. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method, in which English teachers and elementary school students at Buleleng Regency were the subjects of this study. Meanwhile, the object of this research was a project-based assessment rubric. The researcher was the main instrument in collecting this research data and was supported by two main instruments, namely observation and interviews. The data were classified into two types, namely primary data obtained directly from informants and secondary data obtained from previous research results. The results of the study indicated that educators have not been fully able to carry out assessments with the right media and instruments in accordance with the applied learning methods.
