Abstract

This paper presents the results and conclusions of an experimental study characterization performed on the polypropylene fibers for use in concretes (NPC, Normal Performance Concrete) to produce an improvement in the durability against exposure to high temperatures. It was used only one type of polypropylene fiber with two different lengths, 6  mm and 12  mm, to evaluate the effect of the length. © Owned by the authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2013.
