Abstract

Educational reform and talent cultivation require us to transform the traditional classroom. In this transformation, classrooms are reconstructed to support new styles of teaching and learning with intelligent features, blended learning, openness, and human-oriented, interactive and ecological elements. This paper reports a study on the future classroom, not only on the physical construction but also on the basic theory and application aspects. Interaction types and new styles of teaching and learning are discussed. © 2014 Springer International Publishing.
