Spatial analysis of drought index at Indramayu using 13(thirteen) rain gauge scattered of district Indramayu during periode 30 years from 1980 to 2009 has counducted. Water balance calculation was done with Thornthwaite-Matter methode. Drought index analysis results indicate that Indramayu experiencing drought starting from April to November with a severe level drought index experienced its peak in September by 86 %. From spatial analysis of drought index, in July to October its district Indramayu relatively experiencing rate of severe drought. Bulak and Losarang region was experienced faster drought. This research recommended in anticipation and mitigation of drought since Indramayu is the first largest rice producing region in West Java Province. Analysis of drought in this research is an analysis of meteorological drought based on rainfall data and evaporation, not taking into agronomically. Keywords
