Glass reinforced injection moldable PET (poly(ethylene terephthalate)) resins have become a major engineering thermoplastic. Discovery of injection moldable PETs will be discussed with particular emphasis on crystallization. General processing characteristics and physical properties are presented as well as recent developments in new PET's with superior processing and/or product properties.
