Abstract

The article analyzes the case study of realizing some local initiatives such as Participatory Budgeting (PB) for example and their promotion among the citizens with the help of various digital instruments. Participatory budgeting has another effect that the future appears as a strategic motto: Growing political culture and educate citizens engaged in the resolution of their city. Thus, citizens are becoming important players in local politics and create a real civil society. PB is a democratic process that involves suddenly, that all members of the local community/municipalities are invited to be directly involved in decisions about the use of Public Finance (defined portion of the budget). The authors make the analysis of mechanisms, digital trends and other resources that help the citizens of Czech Republic use this local governance initiative and develop it significantly.
