Abstract

This paper recommends a fresh approach, a comprehensive bottom-up corporate business model to replace failed top-down management styles that have wrought unhealthy conditions onto Planet Earth. From conception to delivery this bottom-up strategy supports and encourages naturally balanced environments for life to sustain itself, an exemplary model for organizational unity in corporations, governments, countries and communities. It is critical that these entities embrace a bottom-up biological approach to guarantee sustainability and a more balanced natural environment. With healthcare the bitter expression of corporation's misdeeds, it is critical that the model of sustainability is one based on the wisdom of biology and its innate intelligence. If life is to continue on Planet Earth for yet another millennium, it is my conviction that the cooperative bottom-up approach based on the new biology is the only sustainable model worth embracing. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
