Abstract

v Physical distancing is one of the effective ways to tackle the spread of covid-19 because the transfer of the virus will occur very quickly through the mouth and nose, WHO has instructed to do physical distancing to break the chain of spread of the covid-19 virus. One person who is infected with the covid-19 virus and does not do physical distancing will make 406 people infected on the 30th day period. Judging from the negative impact of this covid-19 outbreak, the author decided to make a tool to monitor community activities in carrying out physical distancing. This research makes an automatic distance detection device using an infrared sensor and a TCRT 5000 line sensor. Where the infrared sensor is a sensor used to detect the distance from one human body to another, while the line sensor is to run the robot on a line / line follower on the device. the. And if the object does not match the provisions, then the output itself is in the form of a speaker as an instruction for that person to occupy the specified box. This study aims to correct the shortcomings of previous studies.
