Abstract

Most of local indices of spatial autocorrelation utilize a classical adjacency matrix as interconnection system. In this paper we attempt to use generalized matrix of spatial weights for measuring local autocorrelation. The work concludes with a comparison of local autocorrelation indices according to different hypotheses of neighborhood. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2011.
