Abstract

As part of a study of the factors affecting the risk of deep vein thrombosis after myocardial infarction a surprising and unexplained finding was that non-smokers had a significantly higher incidence of thrombosis than cigarette smokers. © 1974, British Medical Journal Publishing Group.
