Abstract

New high resolution narrow band coronographic images of the R127 nebulahave been recently obtained. The nebula displays a bipolar morphologyand is similar in appearance to the nebula around AG Carinae. Theobservations improve the values for the linear dimensions (1.9 x 2.2 pc)and yield an estimated nebular mass of 3.1 solar mass.
