Abstract

This chapter discusses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the context of Spiritual Performance. Appropriate theoretical framings are referred to with the intent of creating a deeper understanding and application of CSR in a religious perspective. The research method is a qualitative research approach relying on critical review of scholarly articles on CSR. The authors also carried out in-depth interviews with some church leaders from the two featured cases in this chapter. Religious writings and books, including the Christian sacred book, the Bible, were important sources of information.
