Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Gambar Berseri Terhadap Keterampilan Berbicara Bahasa Indonesia Siswa Kelas III MI Al-Washliyah Perbutulan Kabupaten Cirebon

Abstract

In general, students have difficulty when given the task by the teacher to tell stories. The difficulty is due to the absence of support tools / media in story telling, so that they are unable to express thoughts and ideas well. This causes students to be reluctant to tell stories. This study aims to determine students responses to the use serial images, to obtain the results of speaking skills and the influence of the use serial images to students' speaking skills. This research is a quantitative research with one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research is all students in class III A total of 29 students. While the sample in this study using a total sampling is all students in class III A. The research data were collected using performance test sheets and questionnaires. While the analysis technique used in this research is simple regression analysis The results showed that a significant influence on the speaking skills. It is based on the value of R Square of 0.628 (the square of the correlation coefficient 0.793). This value can be interpreted that the 62.8% effect of variable x to variable y. In the regression test results obtained arithmetic t test results for 6758 with a significant value of 0.000. Because of the significant value less than 0.05 and t (6.758) is greater than t table(2.05553)then it can be concluded that Ho is rejected, meaning that there is the influence of the use serial images to the Indonesian speaking skills.
