The Siberut Biosphere Reserve, consist of Siberut National Park as core area and production forest managed by PT S3 (48.420 ha) and former KAM Company (49.650 ha) as buffer zone. National park and production forest were habitat of four primated endemic species such as Hylobates klossii Miller, 1903; Simias concolor Miller, 1903; Presbytis potenziani Bonaparte, 1856; and Macaca pagensis Miller, 1903, in which 65% of an average population scattered at hilly forest. Their's population of production forest in the North Siberut were 6.54 individuals/km²; 8.7 individuals/km²; 10.32 individuals/km², and 33.10 individuals/km² respectively. While, these population were two times higher than endemic primates in national park and also 35% higher than population of five years logged over area habitat in the south. In order to protect primates population of national park from logging impact 1,500 m of forest area distance a long park border and logging activities to be conserved as buffer zone, where as in logged areas was necessary to construct ± 2,300 ha in five years work plan (RKL) of logged over area as conserved areas and totally the whole of these areas in seven RKL covered about 30% of production forest areas.
