Abstract

This paper presents the library of analytical models of the resulting membership functions (MFs) for the arithmetic operation “multiplication” with asymmetrical fuzzy numbers (AFNs), which may have various shapes of MFs. Sixteen analytic models are included to the developed library for multiplication of the triangular AFNs. The authors discuss practical examples and applications of the developed soft computing inverse/direct models.
