Abstract

We have investigated the role of the Ca2+-binding protein S100A9 on tumor growth in prostate cancer and T-cell lymphoma models. We found that the expression of, S100A9 and its interaction with Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) is critical for tumor growth in these settings. © 2012 Landes Bioscience.
