One of the human basic needs is food. Many food businesses in Indonesia makes food entrepreneur need to improve the quality of their products in order to compete with others. In addition to food taste and appearance, food packaging plays an important role when someone chooses the food to be consumed. Packaging that produces a positive experience for consumers becomes an attraction for the product to be consumed. This research aims to describe the methods and considerations to produce an food packaging that produces a positive experience. This research also applied the package development to one of UMKM assisted by KADIN in Bandung City which is engaged in food catering and restaurant. The packaging produced was a simple food package but produces a fun experience for consumers. The evaluation result of the packaging design with the observation and interview method proved that the packaging design has a positive experience for the consumer.
