Abstract

What is the underlying motivation for physical form discovery in the pharmaceutical industry? Can high-pressure techniques help with this task? After a brief introduction on high-pressure methodologies for the study of molecular compounds, the technique of high-pressure recrystallization from solution is described in some detail. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
