Abstract

This chapter tries to manage the indicator analysis based on Virtual Reality (VR) technology to present an integrated method for rational tourism development planning. It makes the application of the integrated method with indicators and sub-indicators of ecological and VR assessment. It develops a VR model by presenting the attraction's images and a prototype of an interactive visual simulation system in the planning area. It analyses that VR technology is one of the multi-indicator ways that provide useful support in the choice alternatives for tourism planning. It makes suggestions for the future planning of the study area, and implementing a vision of future studies based on this system. © 2012 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
