Abstract

In the present paper, numerical solution of a modified moment model for particle population balance equation in the continuum-slip regime is proposed based on the Taylor expansion method of moments (TEMOM). No simplification of the slip correction factor in the collision kernel makes this solution have a higher accuracy than the previous work. Results illustrate that the numerical solution is also applicable when the Knudsen number is extended up to 10.
