Abstract

In order to study parental socialization (Styles) cross-culturally, it is necessary to understand the different styles of parenting in culture throughout the world, also the effects of culture's variables on parenting styles. The re-search discusses this notion through: definitions, specific theories and psychoanalysis for the theoretical frame-work. Then the study suggests a new type of socialization (parenting styles) as a result of the new global culture.
