Abstract

Teacher education should be the sowing grounds for trying out different innovations and model diverse learning and teaching approaches. However, a number of studies have indicated that teacher education does not adequately prepare teachers to teach with technology. In light of the situation, the author not only attempted to integrate content, pedagogy and technology but also to foster peer learning so that our student teachers could learn in a supportive environment. An institutional standard questionnaire and a focus group meeting were conducted to gather their feedback on learning approach. Their group project grades and their individual report grade were also analyzed. Findings suggested that they enjoyed both peer and blended learning approach and were able to perform better as a group rather than individually.
