Future Investigations on the Ocean Life of Salmon

Abstract

A discussion is presented on the ocean life of salmon, identifying gaps which exist in present knowledge. Major advances in recent studies are examined. The collection of catch and effort data for use in management is discussed, considering sampling of catches, tagging experiments and experiments supplying data for density models.
