This paper describes a 3D interactive desktop application that visualizes the appearance of the town of Zlín in the Eighteen–nineties. The Blender software suite was used to create a complex 3D model of Zlín and its municipality in previous years. Now, this model has been revisited, improved and extended. This was followed by work in order to export it into the Unreal Engine environment. Using this software, the terrain has been further improved to be more realistic and additional assets (grass, trees, bridges, fences) were added to achieve more reality. Then, a user interface with a basic menu was created, user interaction was implemented and initial animation has been added. Then everything was compiled into a fully functional application.
