The implementation of Qanun number 6 of 2014 in Aceh about jinayat law (criminal law) affects to the study and the development of curriculum in The Syari’ah Faculty in Islamic Higher Education and also in The Law Faculty in other Higher education institutions in Aceh. The change and the determination of the several subjects study, such as an Islamic Law (Syari’at Law) as a new subject, becomes an evidence of the affect. The implementation concept becomes one of the studies in the curriculum even thought the curriculum in The Law Faculty does not significantly change by determining a new subject; a Jinayat Law. The subjects, such as Islamic Law and Islamic Criminal Law become required subjects study to be taken. The study of Islamic Law has been developed, in academic theory and practice side as impacts of the determination of Jinayat Law in Aceh people with various background knowledge and law experiences. The dynamic of ideology diversities, thoughts, juridical barriers, and concepts of Jinayat Law can be minimized through an academic discussion which is expected can be more proportional to the curriculum. Several subjects need more a comprehensive study, especially in Syari’ah and Law Faculty, Islamic Criminal Law Department. The development of the curriculum is necessary to be conducted in order to gain the advices and revisions from academia to complete the implementation of Jinayat Law.
