Abstract

Microalgae is the lower organism that gets that attention because they not only have specific mechanisms but also grow and develop extremely fast. Microalgae’s current research and applications have created a revolution in agriculture, the food industry, the pharmaceutical industry, new materials, and environmental protection. The rapid development of the microalgae industry in the world is due to many advantages of the organism compared to higher plants such as short life cycle, high yield, high efficiency of use, and high yield. A series of technologies applied to the microalgae treatment process has been completed to help reduce costs and improve biomass quality. This paper presents the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in microalgae cultivation and builds a Machine Learning (ML) model based on the collected data from the IoT system to predict the biomass of microalgae.
