Abstract

Female pelvic surgery is unique in that interventions can be performed using vaginal, laparoscopic, and/or robotic approaches. Regardless of the selected modality, proper instrumentation is imperative for a successful operation. The instruments that represent a sampling of all that are available but which we have found most useful for female pelvic surgery are provided. A representative image as well as a brief description of each instrument has also been provided.
