Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of COVID-19 on the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of motorcycle taxi drivers in the Paramonga-Lima district. The study applied a face-to-face survey to 166 motorcycle taxi workers over 18 years of age. The efficiency, efficacy and productivity indices were constructed using the multivariate statistical method of Multiple Correspondence Analysis; therefore, to test the hypothesis, the MANCOVA was used. The results show that all ages are productive, the most productive being motorcycle taxi drivers who are between 18 and 29 years old and in good health; It also indicates that those who were vaccinated and used a mask show stable efficacy, efficiency and productivity, with higher productivity. Likewise, having been vaccinated against COVID 19, having had protective measures and being infected with COVID-19 have no effect on efficiency, effectiveness and labor productivity when age is controlled. Therefore, there is a resilience on the part of motorcycle taxi drivers in the face of the pandemic crisis.
